When Lancer set out to engineer the L15 rifle platform, we took an entirely new approach. Instead of churning out yet another version of something that’s been done hundreds of times over, we started from the bottom; taking into account all of the various advancements that have been made to the AR-15 in the last fifty years. The result is Lancer’s innovative L15 receiver, which includes interchangeable mission-adaptable magazine wells, an ambidextrous bolt release, and an over-sized magazine release button.
The L15 Defense is our core rifle package which includes upgraded components typically only found on high-end competition and tactical rifles. The L15 Defense sports a high quality 16” mid-weight, black nitride steel barrel with smooth shooting mid-length gas system. The B5 Bravo adjustable stock and BCM Gunfighter pistol grip provide top-tier ergonomics and control. Lancer’s LCH5 Gen 2 carbon fiber handguard has a 2” front sight rail for backup iron sights and the M-Lok slots will accept any M-Lok compatible accessory rails or mounts.

Took delivery of my L15 Defense package today … have to say, from the time I opened the rifles box and first handled the L15 with its carbon fiber handguard, the quality and attention to detail were evident! Speaking as a former U.S. Navy Gunners Mate and Ordinance Officer this is one solid, well built rifle. The added accessories … Romeo red-dot sight, the folding battle sights, the Streamlight Pro-Tac weapon light, sling, the Condor padded rifle case, 30-rnd magazines … the entire package is very well thought out and assembled. Will update as I get some range time scheduled, but initial thoughts and hands-on with the rifle tell me it’s a great value for the quality and completeness of the rifle and the defense package components. I would also add that my order took a few extra weeks to fill and get shipped out, but Lancer was on top of that and kept me well informed on the expected shipping date. Great customer service is always appreciated. I will highly recommend this rifle, and Lancer, to family and friends.
