The Lancer Systems 1776 Liberty Range™ at Camp Freedom is a private, safe, secure facility nestled in the Endless Mountains region of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Located within just 90 minutes of major airports in NY, NJ, and PA, the 1776 Liberty Range boasts a fabulous 65×145 yard Tactical Training Facility, and an incredible 1,776 yard rifle range. In this beautiful, serene environment, surrounded by over 2,300 acres of gorgeous, mountainous woodlands, firearms enthusiasts can engage their passion, sharpen their skills, and create incredible memories that will last a lifetime. Offering firearms training, instruction, competitive and corporate events, the Lancer Systems 1776 Liberty Range™ at Camp Freedom stands ready to challenge, excite, inform, educate, and satisfy every shooter’s desire to excel.

Course Description: Prepare yourself for an intense, immersive experience as we delve into the exciting and challenging world of Mid-Range Precision Rifle Shooting. In this class, we’ll focus on developing the skills required to score effective, accurate hits on targets out to 600 yards with the Lancer Systems L15 DMR. Provided that participants demonstrate the required proficiency, we’re going to stretch decisive target engagement out to 1,000 yards with the Lancer L30 LTR! As we dig in on the classroom side, you’ll learn about the many variables that affect long range shooting performance while developing a solid understanding of how to overcome the challenges…both the anticipated, as well as those that can arise unexpectedly. We’ll get into the weeds on basic ballistics, atmospheric dynamics, proper optics adjustment, mil reticle ranging, determining holdovers, trigger control, and much, much more.

Once we hit the range, you’ll actively apply the knowledge you’ve gained in the classroom and begin refining your skills set as you “walk” your precision impacts down range, all the way out to 600 yards, and perhaps even more! So, whether you’re young or seasoned, a beginner or a professional, if you’re interested in starting the journey into the exciting world of PRS, we’re certain you’ll benefit from this immersive experience in the Introduction to Mid-Range Precision Rifle Shooting class. We’re also certain that along with all of the other knowledge you’ll absorb during this course, you’ll leave with the indelible understanding that “Consistency in Execution” is truly the key to success.

Equipment Requirements:

This class is being offered exclusively to the employees of Lancer Systems and is limited to a total of 10 participants. All equipment required to complete the course, including ammunition, will be provided.

Participants are both welcome and encouraged to bring their own hearing and eye protection.

Miscellaneous:

• Event will be held regardless of weather conditions, so please pack appropriately based on the local forecast
• Lunch will be provided
• Participants are encouraged to bring additional snacks and drinks
• Alcohol and controlled substances are strictly prohibited
• Please arrive on-site by no later than 9:45 a.m.
